Notes on Google Profile Verification

A common misconception is that renting a business address automatically means you can create and verify a Google Business Profile for that location. It doesn’t. Google determines eligibility and may require evidence of real-world business activity and access.

We at Premier Executive Suites are not selling a magic trick. We’re helping you establish a legitimate local presence and present it correctly to Google.

What Google Is Looking For

Google wants to know that a business actually exists at the location it is claiming. Depending on the business and Google’s verification process, this may involve demonstrating:

  • Access to the business location
  • The business name and identifying information
  • The physical surroundings and location
  • Evidence of actual business activity
  • Other information Google may request during verification

The important point is that Google—not Premier Executive Suites—makes the final decision about whether a Business Profile can be verified.

A Virtual Office Is Not the Same as a Private Office

A virtual office can provide a legitimate business address, suite number, mail receiving, meeting space, and other services. But it does not necessarily give you exclusive access to a private office.

That distinction matters when you’re trying to establish a Google Business Profile.

If your business requires a dedicated office, permanent signage, or exclusive access to a particular space in order to satisfy Google’s requirements, a virtual office may not be the right solution for your particular situation.

What We Can Provide

At Premier Executive Suites, our virtual office clients receive a professional business address and suite number, mail and delivery services, and access to our staffed office environment during normal business hours. Meeting and conference rooms are also available when needed.

We can also assist with Google Business Profile verification through our Local Boost service.

What we cannot do is guarantee that Google will approve a particular business or verification video. Anyone who promises that they can guarantee Google’s decision is promising something they don’t control.

How Google Video Verification Works

If Google offers video verification for your Business Profile, the process is completed from a mobile device. Google requires the video to be a live, continuous recording rather than a previously recorded video. The video must meet Google’s requirements for the type of business being verified.

For storefront and hybrid businesses, Google may require the video to demonstrate the business location, evidence that the business exists, and proof that the person verifying the business manages or represents it.

Google’s requirements can change, and the verification options available to a particular business are determined by Google. Always follow the instructions presented in your own Google Business Profile.

Google: Verify your business on Google

Verification Is Only the Beginning

Getting verified is valuable, but verification by itself doesn’t create a strong local presence.

Your business also needs consistent information across the internet—your name, address, phone number, website, and other business information should agree wherever customers and search engines encounter it.

That is where we take a longer-term approach.

Our Local Boost service is designed to help establish and strengthen your local presence across search engines, business directories, data providers, and emerging AI-powered search.

We think of this as “get rich slowly.”

There is no magic button. There is no guaranteed shortcut.

There is simply the process of establishing a legitimate business presence and consistently building upon it over time.

The Bottom Line

If you simply need a business address, our Virtual Office service may be all you need.

If you need help establishing and strengthening your local presence—including assistance with Google Business Profile verification—our Local Boost service may be a better fit.

And if Google requires something that your particular office arrangement cannot provide, we’ll tell you that rather than promising something we cannot guarantee.

We would rather tell you the truth about what Google may require than sell you a promise we cannot keep.
